Detailed knowledge of the Contract – including review of all pre-award commercial/ contractual correspondence. Responsible for the commercial follow up and administration of the contract in close cooperation with the Rig manager. Provide guidance on contract / commercial requirements, pursue opportunities and advise of risk within the Contract to the Operations Team Focal point with regards to contractual follow up and requirements towards the Company •Promoting contractual awareness within the Operations Team (contractual obligations, rights and objectives). Prepare a contract review and arrange an internal contract review meeting Arrange a contract review meeting with Company and agree upon administrative procedure and requirements Establish proper invoicing routines in close cooperation with Rig Manager/Cost Controller Arrange a commercial review of the Contract prior to commencement together with Rig Manager/Project Manager and his Operations Team. Attend contractual meetings as required Review relevant correspondence to ensure that Seadrill’s contractual position is not jeopardised and to seek opportunities Review of Contract Amendments/Variation Order Requests, incl. commercial issues, prior to submission to Company Assist in the resolution of contractual disputes Responsible for escalation of rates and distribution of the approved adjusted rates Hold a control function and check that rates and invoicing are in compliance with the Contract. Make sure that the Rig Manager / Project Manager/contract Manager is informed about relevant contractual correspondence Make sure that all relevant contractual correspondence is properly registered in the document management system Involve legal resources as required for solving out contractual disputes Contract administration in oil and gas industry. Drilling company experience preferred, but may be service company, oil and gas E&P company. Must be familiar with Petrobras contracting procedures and practices. Required: Bachelor’s degree Helpful but not required: Law degree Business degree
