  Market Research Analyst – Telecom Industry
This professional will report at the regional level and will be responsible for managing all research undertaken by our client in Brazil relating to telecommunications markets as well as representing the Latin America division as the regional expert. He/she will be responsible for generating both annual and custom reports sold by our client as well as leading the development of the overall Telecom program in Brazil. In addition, he/she will define the telecom research plan; increase awareness of telecommunications research capabilities through frequent vendor contact; field media inquiries; and give telecom market-related presentations. Market intelligence, research experience, data analysis, report generation and presentation, Telecom Industry knowledge Duties performed by this professional include: strategic analysis, market intelligence or business planning; project design; project implementation; training; day-to-day contact with regional offices; data tool creation in Excel; data management; regional and in-country vendor contact; technology- and regional-market- trend watching and analysis; generating written market analyses; and creating the final client deliverables. Position requirements: Market research background and wish for performing data analysis; knowledge of the Latin America region’s top telecommunications players; English proficiency and strong communication skills; Leadership skills to deal with local analysts and his/her pairs in other countries; Be familiar with and comfortable with all aspects of telecommunications technologies, including wireline, wireless, satellite, data networking, voice equipment and access technologies; Be able to understand business- and market-related issues relating to these technologies.
